Meditrox 100

WHAT IT’S FOR
The Meditrox 100 is a portable decontamination unit which can be deployed in a single hospital room on a routine basis.
In an unrivalled 1-hour decontamination cycle, the equipment kills surface and airborne viruses and pathogens including so-called hospital superbugs.
WHAT IT DOES
The unit combines water and oxygen to generate a dry ozone vapour which rapidly and permeates all elements of the room.
This advanced oxidisation process produces highly active hydroxyl free radicals that attack and destroy pathogenic cells.
A unique purge system eradicates all residual ozone from the atmosphere at the end of the decontamination cycle, leaving the room ready for immediate occupation.
HOW IT’S USED
The Meditrox 100 can be wheeled into the vacated room and activated by janitorial staff using a simple touch screen control.
With the control lectern detached and left outside the room, the decontamination unit begins its pre-programmed cycle.
The entire process requires minimal supervision while the intelligent control system constantly monitors room conditions and alerts staff when decontamination is completed.
HOW IT’S MAINTAINED
Leased to NHS trusts and private healthcare providers, the Meditrox 100 is serviced on a regular basis by qualified Meditrox engineers to ensure optimum performance and safety.
Between these service intervals, the equipment is self-contained and maintenance-free for hospital staff.
